A festival full of fun and frolic took place in young ladies high school. It was a week long festival celebrated online. It started with “BLESSING” to be expressed in different forms in your life during this pandemic. The tiny tots wrote the WORD and coloured it with crayons. The Primary section wrote the blessing with the help of paper. The Secondary section represented it with the help of Rangoli with flowers and colours. The second day the students made Flowers with the help of Tissue papers. The elder students made project in Math and Science. It followed with a Debate competition on the Topic “OFFLINE SCHOOL VS ONLINE SCHOOL”. Students put down there thoughts and had fun discussing in the group. There was a monoacting competition also held on the Topic “ONLINE CLASS BENEFITS AND DISADVANTAGES” . Students enjoyed singing solo songs The week long Festival ended with a TRADITIONAL DAY. Each class was assigned a state. Both the teacher and the student dressed up beautifully and also presented their traditional food. The entire school was decorated in traditional colours with a Rangoli made with natural flowers by all the staff and sub staff. The festival gave a new hope to all present in this Pandemic.

Our venerable Trafford house, which has housed our school for several decades and supported generations of students has weathered the ravages of time and now needs our urgent help.
The school building needs urgent structural repairs. As per the structural audit, the repairs are likely to exceed Rs. 80 lakhs.

Founder of Young ladies High School
The Young Ladies High School owes its inception in 1889 to the zeal and foresight of its founder the Late Dadabhoy Pestonji Master, a prominent educationist of 1880, whose services to the cause of female education were well known in the literary circles of Bombay.
