Math Club

  • Founded two years ago by our senior Math instructor Mr. Kailash Girl the MATH CLUB is an exclusive association of students who are fascinated by numbers. The success or failure of a Mathematics course rests mainly with the teacher who acts as a pivot for the transmission of intellectual traditions and technical skill and guides each individual. He is expected to build up an understanding and motivation, organise learning plans and create an interest in the subject
  • The activities of our School MATH CLUB include inter-class and inter-school competitions on mathematical topics, arranging lectures by renowned mathematicians, history of mathematics, application of mathematics to daily life, making charts, models, graphs and pictures on related topics, attending seminars on mathematics and conducting outings to study mathematical problems.
  • Mr. Giri is also credited in introducing VEDIC MATHS through a series of ten lectures to Club members during October and December 2007 and January and February 2008 which were attended by all the 45 members of the Club. A nominal fee of Rs. 80 was charged for the full course to cover expenses
