CELEBRATING THE OLDER THE BETTER AT YOUNG LADIES HIGH SCHOOL
Grandparents are the family’s greatest treasure, the founder of a loving Legacy,the greatest storytellers, and the keeper of tradition. Grandparents are the family’s strongest foundation. Through their special love and care,grandparents keep a family closer at heart. To honour them Young Ladies High School celebrated Grandparents day Virtually on 16th September 2021 Thursday at 12:30 p.m.
The programme began with a heart touching dance performance followed by a speech from the school head girl. Many power-packed dance performances by students left the audience spellbound and truly mesmerized. The icing on the cake was a short speech and dance performance done by the grandparents. The piano performance graced the occasion. In pre Grandparents day activities students made photo frames and cards for their grandparents. Principal Mrs T Graceline ended the programme by addressing the audience and encouraged the students for putting up scintillating performances for their grandparents.
The success of the event was evident through the joyful smiles and teary eyes of grandparents as they were overwhelmed to see their grandchildren performing for them.
